Remember that familiar old “Nice guys finish last” saying that all men know? Ever wonder if it is really true? Are all nice guys destined to end up in the friend zone as the bad boys charm the ladies and have all the fun? Do women seriously prefer dudes who drive a motorcycle and ‘forget’ to call you back to men who go grocery shopping with you and own a Prius? I say it’s time we find out!

A little bit of online polling and data research has yielded some surprising facts. Hang onto your seats nice guys – it seems like you just might not finish last after all!
- 38% of women surveyed actually said they prefer nice guys!
- 15% said they would go for the motorcycle and faulty phone.
- But here’s the real shocker: more than one third (34%) said they just really want a man who is BOTH a bad boy and a nice guy! (Because that makes sense)
- And a very gracious 6% said they wouldn’t care – they’ll take anyone they can get!

Your mother was right, good manners always pay off and men who remember that finish first! Closely followed by men who can drive motorcycles AND go grocery shopping with their significant other. And bringing up the rear are men the bad boys with their ways that all girls love to hate.

Sex in prisons to be studied by Howard League
A charity is launching the first study of sex in British prisons. The Howard League for Penal Reform says it will spend two years looking at all elements of the issue, from consensual to coercive sex in jails. The investigation in England and Wales will also look at what can be done to improve the sex education of adolescent and teenage inmates.
