No Strings Fun

Has Porn Killed Good Sex?

December 9th, 2010 by Lisa

Has the porn industry created a generation of less-hot men to the extent that no amount of Viagra can help? The illusion that a man only needs to get an erection for superior sexual performance, has resulted in men who just don’t seem to try too hard. Or worse, they mimic what they see on their screens and believe that they are great in bed.

Last time I had sex I was so good I got a standing ovation. Well, actually, I just got the clap.

Jarod Kintz.

But if they fall for the illusion of porn as being the real thing, then they will remain clueless as to why their women resort to faking it and then moving on. Men need to remember that when they watch porn, they should consider it as a way to relieve stress, a way to step out of their real life for a few hours and enjoy some mindless entertainment.

Too much of a good thing

It is suggested that too much manual stimulation, as opposed to mental stimulation, will alter a man’s natural libido, leaving him wanting for a sexual sensation that ‘normal’ sex cannot supply. A woman’s body is just not equipped that way. However, on the up side, if the old wives tale that too much masturbation will leave you blind is true, then they will eventually not be able to enjoy porn and things may go back to normal. You can resume playfully fumbling in the dark and the woman may actually get a little foreplay!

Other reasons that porn has killed good sex include the perception of women. Guys, we are not naturally built that way, not most of us anyhow. We may have perky personalities, but not naturally perky breasts that stand to attention even if we are lying on our back. And if you come in for a close up, you may see a blemish or wrinkle, so don’t freak out.

And please, remember that these well-paid porn stars are following a script down to each moan and groan and “do it again, King Kong!” Giving a blowjob is fun, but the porn princess makes it look like way too much fun. We may love to feel you in our mouth, but don’t fall into the trap of believing that that is all we need to have an orgasm. As Samantha in Sex and the City once observed, ‘Honey, they don’t call it a job for nothin’.’

Technique goes a long way

And when you go down on us, learn a little technique and finesse. You are not involved in a watermelon eating contest at the county fair so slow down. They have entire chapters for women devoted on giving a good blowjob. The least you can do is read a page or two about oral sex for women to see what will send us to erotica heaven.

Finally, you are not paying for studio time so you can take a little longer than 10 seconds to please your woman and enjoy sex. Make the time between ‘action’ and ‘cut’ the stuff that Academy Awards are made for.
