So the American Department of Public Safety thought they\u2019d put together a little video campaign to remind us how to stay safe while driving – they called it \u201cDon\u2019t Jerk and Drive\u2019.\u00a0Watch the video here<\/a><\/p>\n

Predictably, this proper driving campaign has already made headlines, grabbing the attention of drivers everywhere, and even stirring up a few prudish feelings in those that can\u2019t handle double meaning in their driving instructions.<\/p>\n

South Dakota has already pulled the plug on this video and has refused to broadcast it to their audience claiming the risqu\u00e9 ad would distract drivers from the real message.<\/p>\n

Public Safety Director Trevor Jones, said the decision to block the ad from airing on TV and in social media was made because he \u201cDoesn\u2019t want innuendo to pull focus from the main message of saving lives on the road.\u201d<\/p>\n

They\u2019re not the only ones who seem to be a little too immature to handle a well-placed joke. Viewers all over the web have taken to posting silly comments in response to the public safety announcement. Here are just a few such responses:<\/p>\n

As a former BIG truck driver I have observed several drivers jerking on the road …. chuckle , chuckle !<\/em><\/p>\n
